My wrists still burn from the growing pains, but thankfully more manageable than what I endured to write yesterday.
Last night I went and chatted with Ahmiaus about what I had seen in the dream. He greeted me warmly, something I wasn’t anticipating considering his disappointment the day prior. Destiny had informed him of my condition and so it made the discussion of my training far easier to brooch. Unsure how in depth I ought to go with what I saw, I simply stated that I felt I would benefit greatly if my magics were catered to putting the creature to rest; sapping them of their energy versus physically harming them. My teacher thought and a soft smile crept to his lips.
“Indeed we can do that,” Ahmiaus said. It was like a burden was lifted. And so on a more positive note, my training should be even more beneficial. May I not choke up the next fight that comes our way.
